Can I be put in touch with a current student or an alumnus?

If you would like to speak to a current student or one of our alumni ambassadors, please contact Ravkiran Raj.

Can I visit the Cranfield campus?

We host a number of open days at Cranfield throughout the year, giving you the opportunity to meet our faculty, students and staff, and sample Cranfield's teaching style. If you are unable to attend one of our scheduled open days please contact us to arrange a separate visit at a time that suits you.

  1. Register to attend an event.

What is the difference between the full-time and executive part-time course structure?

Our full-time courses are 12 months in duration and start at the end of September each year. They typically attract fresh graduates with little or no work experience and also professionals already working in the area of finance who want to take their career to the next level.

Our executive part-time courses are either two or three years in duration and attract students with a significant number of years work experience. The part-time structure enables students to continue working whilst studying and apply their learning to their organisation between residential modules at Cranfield.

Do you offer online or distance learning courses?

We do not online or distance learning courses at Cranfield. All our courses require students to attend lectures in person.

Admissions questions

Will I be able to work in the UK after completing my course?

If you are a UK, Swiss or EU national, you have the right to work within the UK or anywhere in the EU.

If you have a passport from outside the EU and hold a Tier 4 visa, it is possible for you to work in the UK after your course provided you:

  • are offered a position within two months of completion of your course
  • transfer to a Tier 2 visa once your future employer has issued a Certificate of Sponsorship

Tier 2 entrants through this route are not subject to quota which means there is no defined limit to the number of students that a company can recruit following this process.

Can I get course exemptions based on my previous qualifications/work experience?

If your degree is not equivalent to a UK Honours Degree 2:2 or above, GMAT may be required. The course director may also request any applicant to take GMAT. If GMAT is required, you will need to achieve a minimum score of 600 overall, with an analytical writing score of 4.0.

The application process

Can I apply if I do not have an undergraduate degree?

If you do not have an undergraduate degree, you may still be eligible to apply. To check your eligibility, please complete our online informal assessment form. Our admissions team will then review your details and email you back with their recommendations, usually within 24 hours.

Do I need post-qualification work experience to be eligible to apply?

We accept applications from individuals both with and without work experience. Each application is considered on its individual merit by the course director.

Is there an application deadline?

We do not have an official application deadline. As we receive a high number of applications each year and are limited in the number of places can offer, we advise you to apply early to secure your place on the course and in on-campus accommodation.

Is there an application fee?

We do not charge an application fee to process your application.

Can I apply for two courses at once?

You can only apply for one Masters course within the School of Management at a time. If, however, you are unsuccessful in being offered a place, you can request that your application be considered for another Masters course of your choice should you wish to do so.

What is the application process?

Once your online application has been submitted together with your supporting documentation, it will be processed by our admissions team within four to six weeks. You will then be advised if you are successful or whether the course director would like to interview you before a decision is made. If you are successful, an offer letter will be emailed to you within two weeks. You will then have four weeks to confirm your place and pay your deposit of £1,000.

Who should my references be from?

We would ideally like at least one of your references to be academic; however, if you have been away from academia for a number of years and this is no longer possible, we may accept two professional references.

How can I send my supporting documents?

You can attach your supporting documents to the online application. References should be on official letter-headed paper and be signed by the writer.

If your application is successful and you are offered a place, you will be required to provide the originals either before, or on the day of registration.

Who should my references be from?

We require two references with your completed application. Ideally, we ask for one reference to be academic. If, however, you have been away from academia for a number of years and this is no longer possible, we will accept two business references.
