Cranfield School of Management

Welcome to the website for the Information Systems Research Centre (ISRC). Established in 1993, the ISRC has been conducting pioneering research that seeks to advance both our understanding of information systems and technology in organisations as well as to improve practice in IT management. The centre’s underlying objective is to help organisations maximise the value they derive from information technology.

On these pages you will find information about our research activities and upcoming events. Please browse them. Many of the documents detailing the results of our research are available for downloading. However, as a membership-based research centre, the real value of our work is our close collaboration with members during the research process.

We also run an IT Leadership Forum (ITLF). This is a cross discipline community of practice - involving senior IT and business leaders – who want to learn about and address contemporary management issues related to information systems and technology. This Forum holds six thought provoking, action-oriented events each year.

You will find information on our extensive portfolio of information systems short courses and over the years we have worked with a variety of organisations to design customised educational programmes.

If you would like further information about any of our activities or projects or to get involved in our research activities please contact  Maggie Bridge (m.bridge@cranfield.ac.uk).
