The International Centre for Programme Management at Cranfield, in partnership with the Enterprise Services Group of Hewlett Packard (the world's largest technology solutions and service provider), is executing a portfolio of R&D activities in pursuit of innovation in the way that organisations, their clients and suppliers deliver complex programmes and projects.
With ever-increasing levels of complexity, existing processes and management practices are often insufficient to deliver all the business benefits expected from the implementation of large projects and programmes.
Our mission is to advance the boundaries of Programme and Project Management(PPM) to where it becomes an integral part of organisational strategy.
Unique in our approach
We believe that successful programme management is fundamental to delivery of both core business and major change in organisations. Key to successful delivery are "intelligent relationships", where clients and providers can selectively draw from best practice, to design and execute programmes fit for their context and purpose.
Unique in the way we work
We see our research as the first step in a development process that results in realised benefits,
We work with our industry partners to identify gaps in knowledge and develop solutions to their programme management problems. In doing so, we are advancing both the practice and theory of PPM for their benefit, their clients and the wider community of individuaks and organisations, who rely on PPM for achieving their business objectives.
Unique in our capability
We utilise the expertise of world-class researchers and lead practitioners to effect change and progress.
This website will tell you more about who we are and what we are doing. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss what we can do for you.
