Top for economics
In the recent Financial Times ranking of global MBA programmes, the Cranfield MBA remained one of the top ranked UK business Schools in the world.
Congratulations must go to the School’s Economics group - in the section which highlights the world’s top 10 by subject category, Cranfield is ranked 2nd in the world for economics.
Other highlights from the ranking include; the Cranfield MBA is ranked 14th in the world for value for money, 14th in the world for career progression and 19th in the world for international mobility.
Professor Joe Nellis, Director of the Economics group at Cranfield commented: "We are delighted to be ranked 2nd in the world. The fact that the Economics teaching ranking is based on the views of our alumni makes it even more significant and reflects the importance of ensuring that the student experience at Cranfield is of the highest quality."
Director of School Professor Frank Horwitz said: "It has been a tough year for business schools around the world and, in a ranking in which sees many Schools dropping significantly, this result confirms Cranfield as one of the UK and Europe’s top tier schools. Overall we have moved from 34th to 36th in the world, 6th in the UK and 12th in Europe."
The FT ranking follows the recent news that Cranfield School of Management was ranked no.1 for alumni satisfaction by Forbes (ranking of non-US business schools) as well as the successful reaccreditation by both AACSB and AMBA, both of which commended the School highly.
