Shortlisting
If your application meets the University’s and School's admission requirements it will be circulated to potential supervisor(s) for consideration. If anyone wishes to pursue your application he/she will contact you for an informal discussion and, if the outcome is satisfactory, will recommend a formal interview. A candidate cannot be shortlisted for interview until there have been these informal discussions with the intended supervisor. (The supervisor allocated to an MRes student will also be appropriate for his/her continuing PhD studies).
If you are shortlisted you will be invited to Cranfield for an assessment day which involves a panel interview and admission test(s). Special arrangements can be made for candidates outside Europe who are unable to travel to the UK.
If the School is unable to identify a supervisor you will be notified as a quickly as possible.
