The Centre for Research in Economics and Finance

The Centre for Research in Economics and Finance (CENREF) was established through a merger in 2007 of the Centre for Competition and Regulation Research and the Centre for Financial Research with the aim of fostering more cross-disciplinary research into complementary fields in economics and finance. The Centre is directed by Professor Sunil S. Poshakwale who is Professor of International Finance. Members of CENREF regularly publish papers in high quality journals. The research undertaken has high policy value and is frequently cited in reports by government, international developments banks and central banks.

The Centre for Research in Economics and Finance aims to foster cross-disciplinary research into the complementary fields in economics and finance.
