Business Simulations
A well-chosen business simulation has the power to consolidate both the operational and behavioural elements of your managers' learning. It is an opportunity to experiment with new concepts in a fun, challenging but risk-free environment.
A simulation also provides excellent networking and team-building opportunities both when integrated into a face-to-face programme or when run on-line between modules.
Virtual TeamsOur on-line simulations offer a great deal of flexibility in managing the development process. They provide continuity between modules, opportunities for networking and experience of virtual team working. In addition, they provide a risk-free environment to practice new concepts, frameworks and behaviours.
On-line decisions can be made at regular intervals - usually between 1 - 14 days, where the teams communicate with each other via email, teleconferencing, video conferencing, face to face, or through the chat rooms within the simulation itself. Cranfield provide support throughtout the process with facilitatiors readily accessible.
The time spent on this activity is typically 1 - 2 hours per decision. However, often team members adopt specific functional roles and spend time individually assessing and analysing information, bringing their own recommendations to the team meeting for final group implementation.
Choose from Cranfield’s extensive portfolio of both web-enabled and paper-based simulations.
