Theme 5 Benefits of programme management
There are a number of major reports into success and failure in project management (e.g. KPMG, 2005; Standish Group, 2004, 2006; NAO, 2006). None of these have reported on programme management or the business context for programme management.
We are working on a report that will provide basic evidence for future work in ICPM and elsewhere. Key trends in programme management will be identified and enable us to answer some of the questions that are often posed by practitioners requiring business case evidence for developing programme and project management.
