Power and Influence
Power and Influence addresses the necessity of coming to terms with organisational politics in the context of emerging leadership. It will help you to develop a mature and ethical approach to the politics of managerial life . By the end of the programme you will have a personal action plan of how to manage the issues you are facing in your organisation.
This is a stage 2 programme of the Centaur Approach for delegates who have attended Breakthrough as a Manager (formerly known as Managing People Effectively), Personal Transformation for Leaders (formerly known as Organisational and Interpersonal Skills in Management) or Increasing Personal Power.

This programme addresses your attitude to organisational politics so that you can view it in a more positive light and will help you to play the political game within your organisation with complete integrity. You will leave with a model for thinking about politics, and frameworks for reading political situations.

- A model for thinking about politics
- Frameworks for reading political situations
- Strategies for managing situations and personality types
- Politics clinic
- Personal action plans
- Individual coaching on your own live issues.
Who is the programme for?
Managers who are familiar with the Centaur Approach and who accept that an awareness of organisational politics is an essential part of corporate life. Participants will have taken part in one of the following:
- Breakthrough as a Manager (formerly known as Managing People Effectively)
- Increasing Personal Power
- Personal Transformation for Leaders (Organisational and Interpersonal Skills in Management).
