Praxis: Personal Impact and Development
Beyond Presentations: Speaking to Inspire
(Previously Walking Your Talk)

This programme is about shifting out of the ‘default’ position and stepping into the sphere of influence and inspiration.  It will help you transform your performance and increase your presence, sense of purpose and influence.  By the end of the programme you will have enhanced skills for generating new ideas, thinking on your feet and connecting with your audience in a range of challenging contexts.

What will I get out of the programme?

You will have:

  • Increased ability to communicate your vision, values and message with passion and precision
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • The ability to align your body and voice to be a more inspirational communicator
  • Rigorous one-to-one coaching.

What is the programme about?

This advanced presentation skills programme works at a much deeper level than traditional presentation skills courses and you will capture and develop the mind-body state that is at the heart of personal presence.  We will lay the foundation for enhanced presentation work.

Led by highly experienced facilitators who achieve great results, the programme focuses on helping you to make effective choices to sell your ideas and yourself with passion in any context – without video, PowerPoint or props - performing with maximum effectiveness as yourself, using your unique strengths and style.

Whether speaking to large audiences, persuading in boardrooms or talking to your team you need to be seen, be heard and be inspirational - learn to create powerful, sensitive and effective presentations.

We help you to channel your presence into external expression using a range of exercises drawn from the fields of theatre rehearsal, public speaking and personal-professional development.

This practical advanced presentation skills course has elements of formal teaching from the tutors, with the emphasis on practicing a range of techniques for developing and projecting presence. You will receive feedback and personal coaching from the programme tutors to help maximise your confidence and presence in performance.

Who is the programme for?

  • Experienced presenters who want to rejuvenate their communication skills
  • Those who need to deliver credible messages with the power to influence their board, clients or their own team
  • People required to make impactful presentations, but who do not feel entirely confident about their ability to deliver this.
