The Anatomy of personal power
Reclaiming your power
What are you an expert in?
I am able to see the energy body of individuals and organisations, allowing me to understand the forces that create, distort and influence success and personal happiness. This brings immediate insight into the complex ways that power and energy are being lost and the opportunity for guidance into how to regain balance. Individual sessions allow clients to see their own energy bodies and reclaim their full potential.
Teaching meditation as a tool for developing self-awareness, and dynamic decision-making.
Demonstrating and evaluating personal and business scenarios through Martial Arts.
What are you currently thinking about /care about in the world of work?
- I am thinking about how individuals and organisations need to understand that their power and influence directly affects the future of our planet and civilisation: it is vital that they take responsibility and begin to lead with integrity and compassion.
- I would like to see organisations foster an awareness that ‘stillness’, enhanced by meditative techniques, can reap huge benefits in the decision making and the creative processes of business.
- I am hoping to see an uprising of ‘consciousness’ in business and politics which could embrace the idea of people remembering ‘who they are’, not the ‘job title’ they hold; rather the person they came here to be . Leadership that was founded in this awareness would be honest and insightful and would help to bring back confidence and sustainable change.
- I am thinking about the depletion of nature, and what the future will hold, if we don’t choose to re-evaluate our personal and commercial behaviour.
What would you like to see change in Organisations?
I would like to see organisations change the values and weightings that they put on projects; valuing minimal social and environmental impact, alongside profitability.
I would like to see organisations encouraging leaders to pursue activities that will inspire ‘consciousness’ in the workplace, and recognise the value of stillness & meditation, as constructive tools in decision-making & business.
I would encourage organisations to choose key people who demonstrate integrity and insight and give them the space to be inspired and boldly implement new insight into the companies’ strategic planning.
What is special about Praxis?
Praxis promotes and inspires self development that embraces consciousness and integrity, and through this work it touches and influences the hearts and actions of many powerful leaders.
It is willing to ‘step outside of the box’ to offer programmes that will challenge some of our old belief systems and probe for insightful new ways forward.
Why does the programme you teach at Praxis matter in business?
Our portfolio of Personal Power directly affects the success we achieve in our lives. Learning how to manage it is critical, if we are to continue to succeed. The winners are those who know how to harness the world of Power, and use it with compassion and integrity. The ‘Anatomy of personal power programme’ directly teaches the skills you need to achieve this.
Learning about your own power allows you to be more comfortable with other people’s, and to demonstrate compassion and honesty without the fear of judgement. This encourages and supports positive qualities in others: people are more inclined to give their best, if they feel integrity and understanding coming from their leaders.
The ‘Reclaiming your Power’ programme helps you to take ownership of what you have lost, enhanced or distorted in your power, and to review how that affects where you are today. Accepting your history, allows you to open your eyes to what you are really capable of, and starts you on the journey of creating a new and positive way forward.
Meditative and martial arts techniques integrate your understanding through stillness and movement, so that the mind, body and spirit all work in the same creative direction.
How would you describe your teaching style?
Interactive, creative, reflective, and inspirational, but always real. I do not bring a concoction of spiritual and emotional tools that hang in the air, and are never really grounded in the real world. I go out of my way to ground all of my work and use my tools to bring relevant and dynamic changes in the participant’s lives.
My ability to see the energy of individual’s allows me to bring insight and form that can awaken powerful changes.
