Business Angel Network Event
The Cranfield Business Angel Network Event is a new annual gathering where early stage investors can meet entrepreneurs who are seeking finance. The event comprises a series of presentations by new business ventures from the Cranfield network comprising: tech transfer ventures from the University, MBA alumni and current students, businesses from the Business Growth & Development Programme (BGP) and ventures emerging from the Cranfield Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme. Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme
This free programme is open to all faculty, staff and students and is aimed at helping participants turn an idea for a business of technology into a commercial reality. The programme begins with a one day workshop at Cranfield and one at Shrivenham and then goes on to select some participants who will be assisted by an experienced entrepreneur over the coming months to help them develop a pitch for potential investors and/ or business partyners at another event on September. Places are limited and will be allocated on the basis of investment readiness. Interested parties will have to complete a short application form with basic information about their idea or technology. Cranfield Entrepreneurship Association (CEA)
The CEA is a student-run organisation that facilitates co-operation amongst entrepreneurs across the University and the wider Cranfield community. By organising monthly events the CEA aims to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial way of thinking at the School.
