Allow your organization to raise your level of engagement with this important marketplace
Case studies

Since 2007 the Bettany Centre has run a series of customized programmes for Coutts & Co.
With over 19,000 entrepreneurs as customers, this market is core to Coutts’ future strategy. Coutts tasked the Bettany Centre with creating a programme to maintain and develop their position as a leader in this space. Over 100 Coutts private bankers have taken part in the Cranfield Entrepreneurs programme.
Says Head of Entrepreneurs at Coutts Nick Gornall: “At Coutts we have been delighted to work alongside Cranfield and the Bettany Centre over the past couple of years
“We chose Cranfield for their depth of experience in dealing with fast-growing businesses and their clear understanding of the challenges facing entrepreneurs through all of the stages of the business life cycle"
“The Cranfield team really took time to understand our needs and share our passion for the opportunities of supporting, advising and engaging the entrepreneur community."
“Not only have our people been impressed with the quality of the entrepreneurs we have met through the programme and the stories they have to tell, but we have also been struck by the manner in which the school bridges the quality of their research and analysis with the practical application of that knowledge."
“We consider the programme and our partnership with Cranfield to be an outstanding success for our people and our business."
Comments from participants:

High-Potential Businesses Club
In 2008 and 2009 the Bettany Centre ran a series of workshops for local, high-potential businesses, sponsored by Bedfordshire County Council. Participating businesses were carefully selected, and the workshops were designed to prepare the firms for accelerating their rate of growth – even during a time of economic uncertainty.
Comments from participants:
“We both found the course presentations and workshops interesting, well run and highly relevant to focussing on our personal and business goals. Of particular benefit were the presentations from guest speakers from established/successful businesses and the interactive workshops with other participants on the course.” Adam and Ben Vasquez, Directors, Addmore Engineering.
“It was an extremely positive and valuable use of time and you and your team are to be congratulated at the quality of your support, delivery and facilitation. I can see why your reputation precedes you! I couldn't recommend this module highly enough to business owners of any level within the SME category.” Mike Miles, MD Accalon Associates
