Assessment
Assessment is set to challenge you beyond the level at which you have been taught. This encourages you to find your own solutions to problems and breeds a level of pro-activity that ensures you are not just an intellectual, but a highly skilled professional in programme and project management.
A student is regarded as having passed the course if he or she meets all of the following criteria:
- an average overall mark of 50% or more on the modular assessments (including examinations)
- a threshold mark of 40% on no more than two of the taught modules in any one year
- a mark of 50% or more on the final thesis.
"Taking the degree at Cranfield has developed my confidence in what I was doing well by intuition. It has also given me a sound theoretical basis for new concepts or alternative ways to view or structure programmes and projects to get the best out of limited resources.”
