Working in the UK
So you are ready to apply for a place on one of our MSc courses and perhaps are considering a role within the UK following completion of your course.
What options are open to you?
If you are a UK, Swiss or EU national, you have the right to work within the UK or anywhere in the EU.
If you have a passport from outside the EU and hold a Tier 4 visa, you can work in the UK provided you:
- are offered a position up to 2 months after completion of your course
- transfer to Tier 2 once your future employer has issued a Certificate of Sponsorship
Please note that Tier 2 entrants through this route are not subject to quota. This means that there is no defined limit to the number of students that a company can recruit following this process!
For further information please visit the UK Border Agency website.
"The Cranfield environment encourages you to develop professionally and academically, but the emphasis placed on personal development is of equal importance. The level of support available from Professors, the Career Development Team and other support services is outstanding.”
