Background
Megan currently works with Ashridge as a member of faculty researching and teaching in the areas of leadership and communication. She is an accredited coach with Ashridge and with the School of Coaching. Her background is in consulting having worked with Deloitte in the UK in their People and Change practice area for 6 years and at a strategy consultancy firm prior to that. She has also worked in the internet retail industry for boo.com and NTL.
Research Topic
I-Thou dialogue: possible in a leadership context?
Research Issue
Megan is interested in the range of definitions of dialogue and particularly in the work of Martin Buber who identified two ways of encountering others; I-It and I-Thou. Megan is researching the possibility of I-Thou dialogue between leader and follower and as a necessary element of this the very definition of leadership itself.

Why I Chose Cranfield
