Background

After more ten years of experience in the business development aerea, in 1998 I joined the University of Rome as a research fellow. Now I am professor in management at the University of Macerata - Italy.

Why I Chose Cranfield

I chose Cranfield University because of its outstanding expertise in the area of Supply Chain Management and its structured approach to research methodology.

Research Issue

My reasearch issue is focused on the strategic and organizational decision making related to supply chains relocation towards low labour-cost countries.

Research Methods

Case studies and cognitive mapping. I will look at family owned businesses in the shoes industry and at how they have planned, or they are planning, relocating production towards low labour cost countries, with particular reference to the entrepreneurs` cognitive maps.
