Improving Project Performance

This course is run in conjunction with the ECITB and is designed to help develop managers and engineers so they are ready for the challenges of tomorrow. You will gain an overview of project management and how your role fits within it. By the end of the programme you will be more confident in your ability to manage complex projects.
What is it about?
This programme covers all areas of project management from simple basics to advanced techniques. It combines a unique blend of teaching, case studies and team working. Topics include:
- Project Control - Cost and schedule control to understand current positions and forecasting outcomes with emphasis in the difference between project monitoring and project control
- Planning - Critical path analysis, resource scheduling and forecasting
- Productivity - Identifying areas of poor productivity and how to tackle the issues caused
- Personal - Team working and self awareness and their importance in project success
- Relationships - Frameworks for analysing stakeholder relationships.
