The development of female managers in the GCC countries of the Middle East.
The GCC countries of the Middle East are heavily dependant upon foreign labour, in some cases over 80% of the population is expatriate in nature. In order to address the skew in the population distribution it is necessary for the local female workforce participation to increase. This research is concerned with exploring the barriers and enablers to the development of female managers in the GCC countries with a view to establishing a framework that can be applied and facilitate women managers in the workplace.
