Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP)

Centre for Strategic Marketing and Sales (CSMS)

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) is a UK-wide programme enabling businesses to improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance.  KTP funds access to knowledge, technology and skills in UK academic institutions.  The programme is described at http://www.ktponline.org.uk/what-is-a-knowledge-transfer-partnership.

Partnering with us at CSMS enables you to access skills and expertise to help your business develop from Europe’s leading centre of excellence in the fields of marketing, sales and customer relationships.

In practice, we help you to develop a project plan to address a specific marketing or sales challenge, help to appoint a recently qualified person (known as the Associate) to work on each project, and provide academic supervision and support. KTPs typically average 2 years in duration.

KTP enables new logistics capability to be embedded into your business, and has benefited a wide range of businesses across many sectors.

Current KTP's within the Centre for Strategic Marketing and Sales are:
  • Addleshaw Goddard
  • MESH Planning
