Beth Rogers, author of "Rethinking Sales Management", manages the MA Sales Management and undergraduate sales options at Portsmouth Business School. She was instrumental in the launch of National Occupation Standards for Sales in the UK, and is a member of the Academic Senate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Beth recently received an Hononary Fellowship from the Sales Performance Association. Originally a sales and marketing practitioner in the information technology sector, Beth has an MBA from Cranfield and has worked with the School of Management on research, teaching and publications for many years. She has written a number of academic articles on the topic of key account management and sales management, and is a regular contributor to trade and on-line magazines.
