The Cranfield African Leadership Scholarship

The Scholarship is open to successful MBA candidates from Africa who want to pursue a full-time MBA at Cranfield School of Management.

  • Value: the value of the scholarship is £7,000 towards the tuition fees
  • Number of awards: 1
  • Eligibility: The African Leadership Scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding self-funded citizen of an African country whom, in his/her words and deeds, is passionate about Africa and wants to continue contributing to their country following the MBA.

Apply by: 1st April 2013

Scholarship details: The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of merit and financial need. The decision regarding the scholarship recipient will be made by the Director of the MBA Programme in consultation with the MBA Admissions team, in line with the School’s standard admissions practices and procedures.

Please note that this scholarship is offered on a competitive basis. There is no separate application form and if you would like to be considered for one this scholarship please indicate so in the application form, stating why you think you should be awarded it. You are strongly advised to apply by the scholarship deadline. Applicants who are awarded a scholarship will be notified at the time of the admissions decision.

The selection criteria for the scholarships will be based on both:

  • Strength of the application: an applicant's achievements, academic credentials, professional track record and personal merit.
  • Interview: an assessment of the applicant’s communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and/or entrepreneurial potential as well as the candidate’s likely contribution to the professional and cultural make-up of the cohort.

Outstanding Candidates – Nigerian Nationals

The Scholarships are open to successful MBA candidates from Nigeria who want to pursue a full-time MBA at Cranfield School of Management.

  • Value: up to £12,000 towards the tuition fees.
  • Number of awards: 2
  • Eligibility: Self-funded Nigerian nationals

There is no separate application form and if you would like to be considered for one of our scholarships, please indicate so in the application form, stating why you think you should be awarded this scholarship.   • Eligbility: Self-funded South African nationals
