Ron has built and led successful teams, led company turnarounds, developed innovative solutions to client problems, and over the last decade has focused on developing practical CSR solutions for business.

Born and raised in Cape Town, he competed a BSc. in Computer Science at UCT and then won a scholarship to study at Oxford where he graduated with two Masters degrees (and a Blue for Hockey).

He has been Managing Director of two successful marketing companies, Swedish Motors (Volvo) in Thailand and New Zealand Breweries (Steinlager) in Auckland, New Zealand.

Ron consulted on Business Strategy to a wide range of companies from the US to Asia and Australasia, and in a wide range of industries. In Thailand, he assisted in building several new ventures, founded the South African Thai Chamber of Commerce, sat on various committees representing the foreign business community, and was a director (and Vice Chairman) of the Board Of Trade of Thailand.

As Director, Corporate Relations for Diageo Australasia he designed and implemented several sustainability activities in Australia that are being replicated internationally by Diageo and the industry.

He is a Visiting Lecturer to graduate students in Thailand (Marketing) and Vietnam (MBA) and recently served as Guest Professor for CSR at Rotterdam Business School.

Currently based in Sydney he consults to companies on CSR.
