Tanya trained as an occupational psychologist and has spent the past 25 years in the management development field, of which 18 years were on the faculty at the University of Birmingham. During this time she has developed a particular interest in executive learning. She has widespread experience in individual executive learning and has undertaken many coaching programmes with senior managers. Tanya has a particular interest in the use of 360 degree feedback and diagnostic instruments as vehicles for executive learning. She also has particular experience in the field of team learning: developing the capacity for learning within a team has been a key focus of her work with senior teams. Her more recent work has included developing a model of sectoral learning and identifying the key issues involved in learning across organisations.
