Dina was formerly the Director of Intellectual Capital at AIT Group plc. and currently works as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for Business Performance, regularly lecturing on the Cranfield Executive Education programs and acting as a Non-Executive Director for the B-Live Foundation. She has just completed 10 years as an independent governor of Middlesex University.
After qualifying as a teacher, Dina spent the first five years of her career in the Royal Army Educational Corps teaching, consulting on and implementing computer systems throughout the British Army. On finishing her short service commission she studied for and was awarded her MSc in Computer Science from Imperial College of Science and Technology. Following her degree, Dina gained valuable experience working in commercial training roles for both SCO and Cap Gemini. In 1996 she was invited to join AIT to help the company gain from the obvious potential it had in its Human Capital. In 1997 Dina joined the Board, as Director of Intellectual Capital where she was instrumental in looking at how the company could work smarter and profit from utilising its Intellectual Capital to gain competitive advantage. External recognition of Dina’s work has come from AIT being awarded the Arthur Andersen UK award “For motivating and retaining employees”, and 5th place in the Sunday Times’ “Best Company to Work For”.
Since completing her PhD, researching the cost and benefits of measuring intellectual capital, Dina has worked as a consultant and non executive director with a focus on strategic implementation and performance.
