A warm and engaging tutor, coach and developer with over fifteen years’ experience in this area. Alison understands and works with the business and emotional influences at work. Her aim is to develop and release the personal potential of individuals, but she brings to this work a background with a strong business focus. Her approach is to support and challenge, working closely with her clients to provide practical development solutions that meet their needs.
After taking an Economics degree Alison qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She worked in the audit and tax departments of the firm leading large client assignments before moving into training and development. Alison was head of career development for the tax and legal practice across Europe, the Middle East and Africa before leaving PwC in 2001 to work as a freelance consultant.
She now works with large city partnerships, financial institutions, manufacturers, the public sector, NGOs and is a programme director and director of Cranfield’s Praxis Centre. Her work includes executive coaching, development workshops, programme design, facilitation and lecturing.
