Dr. Julie Verity
Julie has had a relationship with the Strategy and Marketing groups at Cranfield since 1990, when she was appointed as the Shell International Fellow to work with the global Oil Group to research aspects of their organisation and, design and present learning materials for Shell managers.
Since then, she has worked with both organisations plus many others. She is a Visiting Lecturer at Cass Business School, Associate at Ashridge, consultant and associate of Olivier Mythodrama and is currently working with the NHS, Anglo American and the international law firm - Lovells. At Shell, Julie sustained a long-term relationship with the Global Brand Group and still consults for The Marketing Store, Shell's product promotion partners, as well as working with Shell`s corporate strategy, scenario and learning teams. The long association Julie has had with Shell has provided a unique opportunity to view the Group through a significant period of its history.
Before moving to the business school, Julie worked with ICI [now Syngentia], Schering (now Aventis) and BP. At ICI she worked as an International Development Manager, formulating and implementing strategies to bring new compounds to market. After a brief stay at BP, Julie moved to Schering to head-up part of the company's UK research effort. Julie did post-doctoral work in New Zealand at Massey University, sponsored in part by Monsanto.
