Admission requirements
All applications to the programme are evaluated by the University’s Academic Services, before being forwarded to the School for consideration. You will be advised if you do not meet the admission requirements.
Admission requirements for the Executive Doctorate are as follows:
- You should have a clear understanding of the basic business principles together with extensive practical experience. The programme is issue-driven requiring you to apply your existing knowledge as you undertake your own research.
- You should therefore hold an MBA or equivalent business-related degree with a minimum of four years managerial experience. This would allow a 4-year registration period.
- If you have alternative qualifications and extensive managerial experience you may also be considered for a 6-year registration period. The degree can, however, be completed within the normal 4-year period if you keep pace with the formal structure of the programme.
- Evidence of English language ability may be required.
Overseas students who require a visa to study (all students from outside the UK and the EU) must have a visa in place prior to registering for the course.
Academic Services will need to ensure that international students meet all conditions of entry before making a formal offer. For assistance with visa applications please contact Admissions
