The International Centre for Women Leaders is inviting applications from prospective doctoral students, both full-time and part-time, in the following areas:

  • Women in the boardroom
  • Corporate governance and boardroom diversity
  • Gender and leadership
  • Social capital and career success
  • Power and political behaviour in organizations - are they gendered?
  • Women in Logistics or Supply Chain Management careers
  • Women in mid careers
  • Gendered organisational cultures
  • Flexible working
  • How can organisations manage maternity leave effectively for women professionals?
  • Factors of career success of ethnic minority senior managers.

We are open to other issues as long as they fit within the Centre's aims.

Your background

You should have a good first degree (ideally in a relevant field such as in the social sciences or management) and preferably a masters degree in a related subject eg. human resource management, organisational behaviour, psychology, women?s studies. Previous research experience (e.g. the completion of a master's dissertation) would be an advantage.
