Women leaders
Research within The International Centre for Women Leaders focuses on gender diversity and leadership. The Centre is the premier research centre in Europe for women’s leadership. Our signature research is the annual Female FTSE Report. Much of our research is qualitative and based on both male and female samples.
Research themes include:
- women directors – their roles, and how they interact on the board
- women’s career development and their promotion to leadership roles
- the issues for women working in male-dominated organisational cultures
- how women integrate their careers into their lives – the impact on retention, career progression and flexible working.
