Research activities are aimed at assisting organisations in evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of HR policies and benchmarking and forecasting trends, both in the UK and internationally.

Research themes include:

  • strategic HRM and performance
  • the role of the HRM function
  • technology in HRM
  • age discrimination and the ageing workforce
  • comparative international HRM.
