VentureDay is an annual one day conference and networking event for entrepreneurs and those interested in cutting edge entrepreneurial performance. The conference covers all stages of the entrepreneurial life cycle from early stage growth to harvest and exit. The conference involves:
- keynote addresses by leading entrepreneurs
- exposure to the latest research on entrepreneurial performance
- exhibits by new enterprises
- a networking zone
- an extensive range of workshops and plenary sessions on business start-up, growth, finance and entrepreneurial strategy
Featured speakers on the day included Cranfield Alumni Entrepreneurs, Business Angel and Venture Capital Investors, plus prominent local figures. Keynote speakers in 2008 were Pete Winkelman, Chairman of the Milton Keynes Dons F.C, Robert Wright, founding Director Wizz Air, and Professor Andrew Burke, Director of the Bettany Centre.
The event took place on the 15th May 2008 at Cranfield University.
