The more aware people are the better leaders we have and the more they can affect change.
Why does the programme you teach at Praxis matter in business?
Praxis programmes do change awareness, challenge current thinking and provide the practical tools and techniques which help people lead and manage people more effectively.
As a result, businesses grow and develop.
How would you describe your teaching style?
Facilitative, clear and challenging. I like to bring creativity and pragmatism to the work in which I am involved. I enjoy communicating complex ideas in a simple way and helping people try out different ways of solving problems.

Designed and delivered team-building programmes for each new store opening, action learning sets for branch managers and a deputy managers? pre-appointment programme.
Head Office Training and Development Consultant, 1985-1987
Assessed the training needs of head office personnel and delivered a wide range of skills programmes.
Management Development Consultant, 1987-1992
Designed and delivered a range of management development programmes.
Introduced the first redundancy training for the Company
Coach Consultant, 1992-1995             
When HR services were centralised, developed the consulting ability of a group of HR
Conducted 360-degree feedback sessions with the board of management
Digital Equipment Company    
Learning and Development Consultant, 1995-1997
Implemented the worldwide performance management system in the UK and Ireland.
Led a competency circle on assessment to set standards and recommend the use of
assessment tools across Digital worldwide.
Compaq Computers
Organisational Development Consultant, 1997-1998
Compaq-Digital merger: designed and implemented programmes on managing change and
uncertainty, and creating the new company culture.
Organisational Development Consultant, 1998-2003  
Designed and delivered the Prudential University, a key cultural intervention of 2002/2003,
for the top 250 high potential managers.
Designed and launched a flagship change agent programme, for high potential people within
Life and Pensions
Designed and facilitated a large business rationalisation programme within business analysis
and design.
Facilitated on the Accelerated Development Programme, a Prudential Group high potential programme.
