Lake Wang

Doctoral Researcher (DBA)

Working as Vice President in AP Moller-Maersk group, Lake is executive board member of Maersk (China) Shipping Co. ltd. and Maersk Hong Kong Ltd., heading the overall Human Resources management of Maersk Greater China Area. The Area comprises operations in China mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Mongolia, locating in 45 locations, representing 50 wholly owned and joint ventured entities, and hiring close to 11,000 employees.

Lake has been working over 15 years in Human Resources management in several renowned multinational corporations. Prior joining APMM Group, Lake was HR head in BASF China, with overall Human Resources management responsibility.

Lake holds an EMBA degree with CEIBS (China Europe International Business School). Lake joined the executive doctoral programme at Cranfield in September 2007, and is conducting research in "how to develop Chinese managers to international leaders".
