David Grayson CBE - Chair of Corporate Responsibility and Director of the Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility
David GraysonDavid started his working life trying to persuade people to buy a certain brand of washing-up liquid - in marketing management with the multinational Procter and Gamble. For most of his career, however, he has been a social entrepreneur - starting and / or running a number of public-private-community partnerships. He was co-founder / director of Project North East - an innovative British ngo which has now worked in 40 countries. (www.pne.org). He chairs Housing 21 – one of the leading providers of sheltered and extra care housing and care for older people (www.housing21.co.uk)

Nadine Exter, Doughty Centre Manager

With over a decade of experience in marketing and communications, Nadine also has diverse skills from co-founding a successful retail and e-commerce SME, advising on change management in the public sector, and running learning networks between public and private sectors. More recently Nadine worked in global stakeholder management and CR program implementation. During her MBA at Cranfield University she focused on implementation of CR within organisations at the Doughty Centre is continuing this work.



Kenneth Amaeshi BPhil MSc MBA PhD - Lecturer, Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility
David GraysonKenneth Amaeshi joined Cranfield in January 2008. Prior to that he had been been a Research Fellow at Warwick Business School for three years and has ten years experience in CR research, discourse and practice. He is also is a Visiting Scholar at Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Heiko Spitzeck

Heiko Spitzeck - Lecturer, Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility

Heiko Spitzeck is a lecturer at Cranfield University´s Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility in the UK. In 2008 he obtained his Phd in Business Ethics at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.  During 2006-2007 he held visiting scholar positions at the University of California at Berkley and Fordham University in New York.

Ron runs his private consulting company Jacaranda focussing on Sustainable Business Strategy and is developing a discussion Forum.  During seven years as Director of Corporate Relations for Diageo Australasia, he had responsibility for Government, Industry, and Public Affairs, Corporate and Employee Communications, Brand PR, Diageo's Corporate Citizenship programme, and for developing Responsible Drinking programmes within Diageo and the local community.

Advisory Council

The Doughty Centre Advisory Council has been established to:

  • advise the director of the Doughty Centre and the School of Management on the overall strategy of the Centre and key priorities;
  • be ambassadors for the Doughty Centre
  • debate key Centre working papers;
  • be available to advise on specific Doughty Centre projects as relevant

The Advisory Council is chaired by Cranfield honorary graduate Lord Stevenson of Coddenham, former Chairman of HBOS.
