Our Research

The Centre seeks to publish REF rated research on entrepreneurship in the fields of economics, finance, strategy and entrepreneurial management more broadly. The research output places a strong emphasis on relevance to practice (business and public policy) and hence is predominantly empirical in scope, uses theories that have a foundation and application in the real world, as well as employing the most rigorous and advanced analytic techniques.

A combination of these three approaches ensures that knowledge dissemination from the Centre's research to its teaching and practice result in students being exposed to an in depth and realistic insight into the complexities, perils and opportunities associated with high performing business ventures.
