Although not a part of our recruitment process, the Open Day forms a useful introduction to the Cranfield School of Management Doctoral Programmes and provides an opportunity for prospective applicants to meet current students and discuss their research interests with members of faculty.
The day includes presentations from members of faculty on:
- An overview of the Cranfield Executive Doctorate and PhD
- Cranfield's Research Community
- What is a doctorate?
- PhD or DBA?
- Why Cranfield?
- Issues facing students undertaking a doctorate
- The application process
There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions about all these aspects of the programmes.
If it is impossible for you to attend, we are happy to arrange for you to meet with the Course Director and/or Cohort Leader, as well as appropriate faculty.
To register for the Open Day, please register online. Your place will be confirmed by email. The closing date for bookings for the April date is 14 April 2010.
Your registration form will be forwarded to appropriate faculty who will be invited to join you for lunch. Please note that the form asks you to indicate your research interests. This enables us to identify appropriate members of faculty to meet you and helps you to get the most out of the day.
