Equipping and supporting managers is the route to business success especially in challenging times
A new report released today (18 March) provides clear evidence of the impact of investment in management capabilities on business profitability. The analysis, conducted by the Centre for Business Performance at Cranfield School of Management, found a clear link between good management and improved business performance, in spite of the challenging economic context and the wider impact of the recession on business success.

Cranfield regional events for owner-managers
Over 1,100 owner-managers have participated in the Business Growth and Development Programme (BGP) at Cranfield School of Management which is the UK`s longest-running programme for ambitious owner managers keen to grow their business.  The next Cranfield BGP programme starts in May 2010.  Throughout March a number of free briefing events are being held to give owner-managers the opportunity to learn how the programme can help them to grow their business, as well as meet past participants from a list which includes high profile names such as Lord Karan Bilimoria of Cobra Beer, Angus Thirlwell of Hotel Chocolat, Tristram Mayhew of Go Ape! and Lara Morgan of Pacific Direct.

The 19th annual Cranfield Regatta, organised by MBA students at Cranfield School of Management, is inviting companies to register crews for the two-day event which takes place on 9 – 11 July in the Solent, England.
