Ursula is visiting fellow at the Centre for Innovative Products and Services.

She studied European Business Administration in Reutlingen (Germany) and London (UK). Ursula began her professional career in the project management department at the central Research & Technology Unit of Daimler, where she co-ordinated major EU funded R&D projects in the field of Telematics and at the time cooperated closely with the Fraunhofer Institutes as well as the Institute for Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen (CH). Parallel to her role as international project manager at Ravensburger Spieleverlag, where she was responsible for several restructuring and sales projects in countries like UK, France, Spain, Nordic and Latin America, she graduated from Cranfield with a PhD in management in 2006. After the completion of her PhD, Ursula moved to S. Siedle & Söhne in Furtwangen, Germany, a leading manufacturer of building communication systems. In 2011, she was appointed as Manager of the Institute for Innovation and Family Entrepreneurship at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen (D) where she is also Programme Director for the Executive Master in Family Entrepreneurship. The results of her research on project-based learning and tacit knowledge in R&D has won prizes and been widely published in top journals such as the Journal of Product Innovation Management and the International Journal of Operations & Production Management. Together with Professor Keith Goffin she regularly teaches Innovation Management on MBA courses in Germany and Italy.
