Professor Shaun Tyson, who is emeritus professor of human resource management at Cranfield University and Visiting Professor at Westminster University, has been recognised as one of the most influential HR thinkers in the UK. He has produced 24 books on human resource management and organisational behaviour, and has published extensively on strategy and policies. In addition to the 27 years he spent as a faculty member at Cranfield, he has been a senior practitioner in industry and has conducted consultancy assignments in the public and private sectors in the UK and overseas. He obtained his PhD from the London School of Economics, and has been awarded an honorary Doctorate by the University of Lyon, France.
