Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC)

By: the Bettany Centre for EntrepreneurshipPublished on: 04/12/2012
This European competition, hosted by a different business school each year, requires MBA students to act as venture capitalists. They must go through the entire VC investment process including reviewing real business plans, conducting due diligence, creating term sheets and negotiation with the real entrepreneur in a very condensed time period. Cranfield sends one team every year to the European Regional final.

The team that represented Cranfield at the competition at IESE on 16 March 2012 were very successful, winning the Entrepreneurs’ Choice Award, voted by entrepreneurs at the event.   To hear what these MBA students though of the event click here
